Mexican Concrete Used in Expansion of Main Costa Rica Highway

CEMEX, S.A.B. de C.V. (“CEMEX”) (NYSE: CX) announced earlier this month that its subsidiary, CEMEX Latam Holdings, S.A. (“CLH”) (BVC: CLH), participated in the expansion and improvement of a section of the Inter-American Highway, the main road in the Costa Rican highway system. CLH supplied approximately 200,000 tons of high-strength cement for this highway’s expansion, a project designed to foster Costa Rica’s competitiveness in product transportation and to promote tourism through the extension of the road to four 50-kilometer lanes.
