Tremors in Santa Ana and Quepos Shake Central Valley

By Wendy Anders Last night around 10:30 a 2.9 magnitud quake was felt and also heard throughout some southern and most western San José districts. People in Ciudad Colón, Santa Ana, and Pavas, Guácima de Alajuela, Escazú, San Juan de Dios in Desamparados, Palmichal de Acosta, Belén, and as far as downtown Alajuela reported feeling the quake, stated the Volconology and Seismology Observatory of the National University (Ovsicori-UNA).
